Volkswagen Popular on St-Hubert Street has been around for 72 years. That’s not nothing! I’ve been there for 30 years. And I’ve never regretted it. Why? Simple, very simple: impeccable service, courtesy, efficiency, expertise, professionalism, and always in French. I’ve always felt at home there. They welcome you with or without an appointment. And if you have to leave your car at the dealership, I walk home, which isn’t very far. I don’t know how many Golfs and GTIs I’ve rented (I bought the latest, very well-equipped 2015 GTI 3 years later), I can’t count them anymore, I’ve witnessed the evolution of this little marvel in terms of design, performance and quality. I remember the excitement when I sat in the latest, brand new GTI! The slightly tilted dashboard, the more comfortable seats, the more powerful engine, the quality of the materials… For a small car, it’s the bomb! And most recently, after 9 years of use, the VW company agreed to repair the corrosion that had infiltrated the interior, near the front wheels. After 9 years and almost 36,000 km on the odometer, this car is almost new and it drives like a charm. It’s true that I had inspections done every year, the filters and oils serviced twice a year, etc. It’s perfect for my needs, even today. And I’m almost 70 years old! In short, I recommend this dealership that has proven itself.
